Le Château Gigognan, located outside Avignon, has a rich history dating back to 987, when the Saint-Martin Chapel was built over a Roman temple. The priory evolved into a Château, eventually becoming a key part of a powerful principality with Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Bédarrides. Today, Château Gigognan blends historical charm with modern luxury and has revitalized its vineyard to produce exceptional wines.

The chateau provides a serene countryside experience while being close to Avignon’s cultural attractions and Provence's renowned vineyards.

Other things to know

We intentionally keep our group sizes small to ensure the best experience for our guests. As a result, space is often limited.
Upon booking, we require a 35% deposit to reserve your space in your selected retreat. This deposit is not refundable.
The remaining balance of your trip will be collected in 2 payments:
- 2nd payment is due 120 days before your trip arrival date
- Final payment is due 90 days before your trip arrival date
Guests are asked to arrival at 4 pm on the first day of the retreat.
Guests are expected to depart by 10:00 am on the final day of the retreat.

Deposit: $1,820 due at booking

$5,000 Per Guest (Double Occupancy: Super King Bed to Share)

Deposit: $1,750 due at booking

$6,500 Per Guest (Solo Sleeper: Super King Bed)

Deposit: $2,275 due at booking

2 / Payment Method

We require an initial deposit due at the time of booking to reserve your space. The remaining balance of the trip will be paid in 2 additional installments.

3 / Airfare & Transfers are NOT included

We have tons of experience navigating France and are happy to make recommendations for the best way to get here! We do offer an a la carte option for round trip transfers from the Marseille Airport, simply select this option when you book.
